The 1.6l petrol engine is available in a 5-speed manual transmission, while the 2.0 dCi and 2.0l petrol come with 6-speed manual transmission. The Qashqai’s rear multi-link suspension and power steering are complemented by the Nissan ALL MODE 4X4 system, enabling you to choose easily between 2WD, 4WD (50/50) lock mode or auto mode. Auto mode senses potential loss of traction and instantly adjusts power between front and rear wheels to maintain stability.

A 5-Star Euro NCAP rating for adult occupant protection demonstrates how occupant safety is a high priority in the design of the Nissan Qashqai. Up-to-date traction control, urgent braking power, stable handling and the latest generation VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) make the Qashqai more than confident on the street. And the Nissan Qashqai comes standard with six airbags while the front head restraints even move forward automatically in the event of a crash, to reduce whiplash injury.
