The Nissan Patrol

The great thing about the latest Nissan Patrol is that it retains its classic character while benefiting from a host of exciting new features. It still offers that commanding driving position of old, giving you the feel that this vehicle is capable of just about anything. However, the interior and exterior have been refreshed, along with new equipment levels that provide performance from a supremely capable 4x4 that looks great too.

The Nissan Patrol - capable AND comfortable
Inside, brushed aluminium and woodgrain complement a two-tone finish and curvy dashboard, bringing the Patrol’s interior feel right up-to-date. Redesigned electrically powered leather front seats deliver even better support and are matched to soft-feel coverings throughout the cabin. Further interior comforts include automatic front and rear climate control, 6-CD player, cruise control and a sunroof. Controls are conveniently located with the diff lock sited on the centre of the dashboard and audio and cruise control buttons placed on the steering wheel.

Interior space totals an impressive 2226 litres, while the seven-seater configuration, over three rows, offers split, fold and recline functionality.  Armrests, drink holders and deep door pockets top the luxurious passenger experience.

Serious off-road performance choices
To power your Nissan Patrol’s, choose from either a punchy 4.8l petrol or torquey 3.0l turbo diesel with manual or automatic transmission - with manual shift mode offering full auto or five-speed tiptronic capability. Shift directly from 2WD to 4WD (in high or low ratio) while on the move and the free-running hubs engage automatically for extra traction. In addition, the rear differential can be locked for even torque distribution and you can manually lock the front hubs for maximum off-road capability.

The Nissan Patrol also boasts an all-steel body on a strong ladder frame chassis with highly articulated multi-link suspension. Moreover, the Patrol’s high clearance level means you can drive through water up to 700mm deep with confidence.

Safe – on and off the trail
The Nissan Patrol benefits from Nissan’s Triple Safety approach which includes Information Safety to warn of potential hazards, Control Safety to assist driving behaviour and Impact Safety components to help reduce injury in accidents. Safe handling is enhanced with precision power steering and Anti-lock Braking with ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels. Further safety features include dual front airbags, body crumple zones, a reinforced cabin structure and side impact beams.
