The Nissan 370Z

A direct descendant of the legendary 240Z of 1969, the new Nissan 370Z is quite simply a car that raises the heart rate and keeps pumping adrenalin into your driving experience. The car’s styling is as aggressive as its character – both of which have been refined from its predecessor, the 350Z - including new front and rear spoilers, 19" Forged aluminium-alloy wheels and twin chrome plated exhaust pipes. The new boomerang styled light clusters, LED taillights and bi-Xenon headlights with washers provide excellent road vision at night and in low-visibility.

Best of all, the 370Z is shorter, wider, and lighter than the 350Z with aluminium body parts for added strength. Yet it’s more powerful, making for a revolutionary milestone in Z style performance from a new platform that improves handling, ride comfort and safety.

Interior cockpit control
Open up with the Intelligent Key, climb in to the 370Z’s leather sports seats and you’ll know you’re in a very special sports car. Find your ideal seating position with the 4-way driver and passenger electric seat adjustment and push the start button. The 3.7l engine simply roars into life and burbles happily behind with a promise of fun-filled exhilaration. Complement the sound of the exhaust with your choice of music from the 8 BOSE speaker system (including 2 subwoofers) and slip in a CD or plug in your MP3 player.

Instrumentation is angled directly at the driver and consists of a digital clock, voltmeter and oil temperature. The drive computer in the 370Z features average speed, timer, distance to empty, average and current fuel consumption, and outside temperature while the inside temperature is adjusted via the independent climate control system.

Streets-ahead performance …
The Nissan 370’s aluminium-alloy 3.7 litre V6 engine is the latest generation of Nissan’s celebrated VQ series – the most awarded V6 engine series in history. This enables the Nissan 370Z to put out a tremendous 245kW of power and 363Nm of torque. With so much power, you’ll be glad of the Nissan Premium Braking System with rotors of 355mm at the front and 350mm at the rear for improved overall brake feel and better fade resistance. Double wishbone multi-link front suspension and independent multi-link aluminium-alloy rear suspension make for confident cornering while the Viscous Limited Slip Differential (VLSD) will manage power to the rear wheels – especially through demanding bends.

Still supremely safe
Comfort and safety are further enhanced with the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) Electronic Stability and Traction Control Systems along with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) that Senses the load condition of both passengers and luggage to control front and rear brake distribution.
